has anyone noticed that we have 10 Members that have never posted could we not send them an email and tell them to get on and start joining the community and if they don't we will delete there account this might make more people actually joining in the many conversations we have going on

not a bad idea, but look at the alternative side of view- the first thing people will look at when they visit us, is our member count and post count.

The lower both of these numbers appear, the more people will be obliged to move on to the next forum... however, if we take some lessons from the following youtube video-
Google don't fail me now

I'll explain that video later if people need me to...

basically, i say we threaten the evil non posters until they post!

Uforia what is the statment you are trying to make with the video. on other news i was looking at the HTML we got for the site and noticed that to help possibly get some more hits from search engines we could expand on the description and keywords which currently looks like this

<meta name="keywords" content="glacier gaming, team glacier, taid clan, modern warfare 2, gaming, usthem comic, us and them" />

as you can see they very specific to the site, maybe if we put a few more general terms maybe eg ps3, xbox360, by doing this might get more people to the site.

The meta tags are very basic ones I added when I set up the site, they need expanding I agree. Lets pool a long list together to add to it!

And yes, maybe e-mailing them would help?

I just noticed that the number of members we had dropped, I guess you removed the spammers from there didn't you?

it looks like he has deleted every spammer and member that has not posted

I'm not sure if it works, but if you already tried it and it works ok it's fine by me, but Kuja already deleted basically everyone that hasn't posted.

Yeah, I pretty much thined out the user list, there was no point in having them on there if they hadn't posted and hadn't been online!

That mod looks pretty good, I'll give it a go when I get back from work, it could be useful!

haha, only just noticed that i was a mod... sorta slow today

as for the point i was trying to make with the video...

screw it, heres the back story-

2 parties on youtube were involved - SamTheGreek and AdamWestsLapDog...
Sam created another account (LapiestOfDogs) and claimed that he was Adam, and had lost his accounts... albeit a very convincing fake...
So now Adam is wanting revenge on Sam, and to do so is going to photoshop Sams head onto someone molesting a dog, and send it to Sams niece...

basically, i'm saying we should use evil tactics to force unruly members to be active!

that or we could just get an owl to eat them

the problem with the owl eating them is that they will not be able to post any more, in regards to the evil tactics do you have some in mind that you would like to share with the rest of us
