Ok, I finally have Glacier Gaming back up and running! The old forum, for now is gone, I'm not sure where, but its now in cyber heaven... or hell? I'm not really sure which one. But, for now I have errected GG as a forum site, I will try to add more to it but the important part was to have some thing people could use. Any suggestions are always good.

Also, any of the older members are welcome to be mods, just PM me and I will see to it that you get your status updated! I'll also be looking for a couple more admins to help out with setting up, so again, just PM me!

Thats it for now, I hope to get some more done this weekend!

So it's just a gaming site now than more of a small community?

The new look works well enough though, now we just need the older members to get back on.

For the moment, yeah it is Zero, but I want to start adding reviews and previews etc. So when I get the time thats what I'll do!

I like this forum software, its nice to use and it has a few mods available for it, I might add a portal to it to make the reviews easier to manage

I like the fixed width, makes things neater, really.
Certainly makes it a lot easier for me to deal with, the forums that aren't fixed width are a majour headache on wide monitors. :/

I prefer them too, though it might be why Lucas hasn't posted lol. Also, I am working on getting a review section up, then maybe content again. Gotta start small!

I doubt you have a wider screen than I do, the monitor I use for web browsing is 2048x1152, you can't get bigger than that unless you get an expensive 30". I hate that it doesn't use all the pixels, I've spent a lot of effort making every single pixel available to me, removing unnecessary borders and WIMP stuff, I want to be able to use them.

Long lines aren't bad, you just need the right typographic settings, long lines require a bigger line-height to be pretty, but it's very doable to make them easy on the eyes.

Also, the old forum isn't in /dev/null, I have a backup, I'd need to write a conversion script, though, and it'll be difficult now that we don't have the same subforums, but I suppose I'll get to it some day

I'm happy with my 1440x900 screens! And plus, the site looks good on them!

i've accessed GG from my laptop, my desktop, my work desktop, and my phone, and havent had a problem on any of them...

Same here, it looks good on my phone actually, I've yet to test the PSP and the Wii, but I doubt there will be any problems!

lol, i still dont use my wii for internet browsing... i suppose theres only 2 people in my house hold that use the internet - me and my sister - and i have my laptop while she uses the desktop, so i dont really have a need for it... especially considering my laptop screen is bigger than my TV, lol

Granted, the Wii isn't great for the internet, but it is nice to know if things work on there, just to say they do lol
