I have never played any of the Mother games... but I know what hard core fans are like, they'll kill to make sure a series is preserved!

please, go download the roms to Earthbound and Mother 3... dont worry, i wont tell anyone...
They are probably the greatest games i've ever played when you get deep into the storyline...

I'm more of an Xbox gamer now... though if they pop up on the Virtual Console then I might get them and give them a go!

i think Earthbound is set for Virtual Console, but seeing as there was no official english translation for Mother 3, i dont like its chance... they are the only games that have actually made me feel, lol

earthbound was SNES, Mother 3 was N64... but then got cancelled and later released on GBA only in japan... which means its only in japanese... but fans made an english translation for it, which you can download and patch into the emulator

Oh cool, that sounds pretty good, There is a pretty decent GBA emulator for the PSP, so might give it a go!

but you definitely need to play Mother 2 (Earthbound) before Mother 3... the series may feel pretty lame at the start, but overall, i would put it up as one of my top series of all time... probably just ahead of LoZ, but slightly before GS...

Lucky me, all of the games I own are the only ones people seem to ask me about that need to be checked out, so downloading them is legal in troubleshooting them. Life.
